The Kidde Smart Carbon Monoxide Detector & Indoor Air Quality Monitor is an innovative device that uses electrochemical sensor technology to detect poisonous CO gas in your home. It will alert you by sounding an 85-decibel alarm with a voice alert that says "Warning! Carbon Monoxide!".

This carbon monoxide alarm can be easily plugged into a standard 120V AC power outlet and includes a battery backup in case of a power failure. The lithium battery backup is designed to last the full 10-year life of the alarm, eliminating the need to replace batteries.

Real-time notifications can be accessed through the Kidde app, allowing your family, friends, and even your pet sitter to monitor your home's air quality. Notifications can inform you of CO presence, high humidity levels that may lead to mold, unexpected temperature changes, or Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs).

Setting up the device is simple: just download the Kidde app, scan the QR code on the back of the CO alarm, and plug it into your wall outlet. By pairing the alarm with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or select iPhone and Android devices, you can check the connection and status of carbon monoxide or air quality using voice commands.

The plug-in carbon monoxide alarm features a digital display screen that provides real-time information on indoor air quality and CO levels. It also includes buttons for easy access: the Test-Hush button temporarily silences alarms and tests the unit, while the Peak Level Memory Button records the highest CO level detected.

For added safety, it is recommended to install a smoke detector on each level of your home and inside and outside each bedroom. The device is UL Certified and comes with a 10-year limited warranty.
