The Kidde 900-CUAR, powered by 120V AC with AA battery backup, utilizes photoelectric and electrochemical sensors to detect smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide. It provides an 85dB alarm and flashing LED lights for warning in case of emergencies. The Kidde i9010, running solely on a 10-year lithium battery, uses ionization technology to sense invisible fire particles and also features an 85dB alarm and LED lights for alerts.

With central monitoring on each level provided by the Kidde 900-CUAR, coupled with the flexibility of placement for the Kidde i9010 to fill any detection gaps, this bundle ensures comprehensive fire and gas detection in the home. Both detectors employ photoelectric and ionization sensor technology to detect fast flaming fires as well as slow smoldering fires, with the added protection against dangerous carbon monoxide accumulation from the Kidde 900-CUAR.

Meeting UL safety standards, both models include test buttons, low battery alerts, and hush features to silence nuisance alarms.
