Kidde Smoke & CO Detector with Battery Backup and Interconnectable Features

Kidde's KN-COSM-IBA Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector combines ionization sensor technology with a 120VAC power source and 2-AA battery backup for continuous protection from invisible fire particles and carbon monoxide. This hardwired alarm features voice alerts for fire, CO, and low battery warnings, with a red LED flashing and three long alarm beeps as visual and audible alerts.

The Hush feature can silence the alarm for 9 minutes, indicated by a green LED flashing every 2 seconds. Up to 24 Kidde devices can be interconnected, with a maximum of 18 initiation devices including 12 smoke alarms. The unit is UL Certified and comes with a 10-year limited warranty, meeting safety standards like UL 2034 and NFPA72.

The KN-COSM-IBA provides dual protection from smoke and CO, with a voice warning system that clearly indicates the type of danger detected or if the battery needs replacing. It includes a Smart Hush feature for nuisance alarm silencing and operates on electricity with battery backup for continued protection during power outages.
